Christmas fast approaches! It’s only 70 days from today! We have no lack of great Things to Do here in Northern Ohio to get ready and excited for the 2024 holiday season. We have prepared a list of the best local attractions near our B&B for you.
First, we have the premiere holiday shopping experience in Milan – Naturally Country’s Christmas Open House. This year, the event is happening for 10 full days, November 1-10, from 10am-5pm. You’ll find decor and gifts (for yourself and other!) to fill your heart with Christmas cheer.

On November 2, a Holiday Craft and Vendor Market will take place at Milestone Event Center in Norwalk. This is a great way to find unique gifts made by local artisans and pass the day in a fun holiday setting. The $2 admission gives you entries for more than 30 door prizes, with additional entries for your shopping!

Also in November, we have the eagerly-anticipated Light Up Norwalk on the 30th. This free event is the official opening of the Christmas season, as the Hallmark-worthy Norwalk downtown is lit up with glittering lights, lots of fun things to do with local small businesses, trackless train rides, hay rides, food trucks, bounce houses, and even a visit from Old St. Nick! The tree lighting will be the main event, you won’t want to miss it!

Foodies will rejoice at the news of a Holiday Afternoon Tea at the esteemed Culinary Vegetable Institute in Milan. The tea will feature assorted savory tea sandwiches, baskets brimming with sweet and savory baked goods, and sweet hors d’oeuvres. Guests can sip on a curated selection of six teas, each expertly crafted in-house to ensure the perfect balance of flavor and aroma. Additional pours of Champagne and/or Chilled Sparkling Tea will be available upon request.
