Winter is upon us in Ohio! Although it’s wonderful to stay in and snuggle up during the cold, we all look forward to Spring! Coming up in March 2022, we’ve got a couple of exciting Things to Do near the B&B while we wait for the unfurling of green leaves and the warm rays of the Springtime sun! What fun to stay in the charming village of Milan at Angel Welcome Bed & Breakfast while taking in a comedic play or a passionate and romantic orchestra concert!
Our first excellent event is Melodic Languages of Love, a performance by the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, featuring Guest Artists Ilya & Olga Kaler, on violins. The music will transcend space, as you travel from Spain (de Falla’s El Amor Brujo (The Love Wizard)) to Russia (Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Suite), celebrating the universal language of love. In addition, a special orchestration of Moszkowski’s Suite for Two Violins and Piano will be performed.
Where: Sandusky High School Auditorium (Sandusky, OH) – 2130 Hayes Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870
When: Saturday, March 26, 2022, 7:30 – 9:30 PM
Cost: $25 (Get Tickets)
Next, we have a wonderful and funny play about 3 zany sisters-of-a-certain-age who all live together and love to sit and talk all the day long – but what happens when someone new moves in, and even more, when when the house might have to go up for sale? Find the answers to these and other burning questions when you attend Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner at Playmakers Civic Theatre. Running two weekends, with two evening and one matinee performance each weekend, you’ll enjoy a comedy featuring mature women having a ball!
Where: Playmakers Civic Theatre – 604 W. 6th St., Port Clinton, OH 43452
When: Fri & Sat, April 1 & 2 – 8pm; Sun, April 3 – 2pm; Fri & Sat, April 8 & 9 – 8pm; April 10 – 2pm
