Hello, lovely guests of Angel Welcome Bed & Breakfast! We know that even though spring in Northwestern Ohio can start with a bit of cloud and rain, the warmer temperatures are calling us all outdoors. If you’re itching for a dose of nature during your stay, you’ve come to the right place! We’re thrilled to share one of our favorite local gems with you: Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve.

Just a short, scenic drive (less than 15 minutes!) from our cozy B&B, Sheldon Marsh offers a fantastic escape into the beauty of Ohio’s natural landscapes. Whether you’re a seasoned nature enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful stroll, this preserve has something for everyone.

What Can You Expect at Sheldon Marsh?

  • Easy Hiking on the Boardwalk:
    • Imagine a gentle stroll along a wide, accessible boardwalk that winds through wetlands, woodlands, and right up to Lake Erie’s shoreline. Perfect for everyone, including those with strollers or wheelchairs!
